Drill it till you kill it.
One of the main principles of the Soulful Fitness Roller Skate Training system.

In practice or drilling mode, structured patterns are followed, divided in parts by counts and direction changes. Isolated techniques are repeated endlessly as the body and brain effectively adjust.

Maintaining strict form improves fast adaptation in a safe manner. Short chains of movements are easy to digest and polish up. Foggy information to the brain is very much limited, thus having a very positive effect on (cutting down) learning time.

Drilling mode is not the endgoal, but merely a tool to reach the endgoal, which is Free Flow. Practicing forms to become formless, is the gateway to absolute freedom.
